PhD in Arabic Language and Literature from the American University of Beirut, and a Researcher in historical linguistics. Her research focuses on Sibawayh’s linguistic theory and its impact on the development of Arabic grammatical heritage. Dr. Deyyah is also a researcher in applied linguistics, especially in language acquisition and its impact on teaching Arabic language. For more than 15 years, Dr. Diyyah taught Arabic language and studied its teaching methodologies for native speakers and as a foreign language, and authored many books in this field.
