I am currently Senior Teacher for Primary and Lower Secondary at the British Council, Madrid Teaching Centre, Spain. I started my TEFL career in Barcelona, in 2001. I have taught in Barcelona, Girona, Kuala Lumpur and Madrid. I have also worked briefly in Hong Kong, developing materials and have participated in national teacher training events around Spain as well as regularly providing in-house training for our specialist YL centre in Madrid. I completed my Masters in Education 2016 and I am particularly interested in how children learn and each stage of their development. Following my studies one of my main concerns in the class is that we do not underestimate our young learner’s potential.
