I have a BA in psychology as well as a Teaching Diploma for Elementary Education and an MA in Elementary Education all from AUB. I am currently working towards my doctorate in Bath University in the UK. I have 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership at both the Elementary and Preschool levels. I am involved with the International Baccalaureate (IB) as a workshop leader, school team leader, school consultant and program field representative during conferences and in-cooperation workshops. I have had experience in curriculum writing with the Lebanese government as well as with the Egyptian government during a project with UNESCO to put in place the Preschool scope and Sequence for the country.
I have extensive experience in workshops; I give workshops in a variety of subjects like: Assessment, Early Years, Teaching of Languages, Teaching for Conceptual Understanding, Authentic Teaching and Learning, Teaching of science and social studies authentically, Project Approach, Reggio Emilia Approach, Leadership, Classroom management, Active Learning... to name a few.
