Kim has responsibility in a number of leadership roles at the IOE, including Innovation and Enterprise within her department. As the Programme Director of Advanced Educational Practice, she has led school-based master’s provision in a number of London Schools and supported individual students to the MA. She also leads an online programme through the University of London: PGCE: Teacher Development. Kim began teaching in London primary schools working with children in grades K1 to 5. Her research interests include mathematics and music education, early years and primary education, special educational needs and professional development. Kim has edited a book, published chapters in books and has written professional books for teachers about the law, and special educational needs. She is currently working on her doctorate studies exploring international professional development for teachers.
